Not just a stick!

Living by a green belt has its wildlife perks. While we really enjoy seeing all the reptiles and mammals that roam the ranch the insects are just as fascinating. This is the first walking stick we have seen since we moved here four years ago. I’m not an insect guru so I’m not sure what the genius and species is; but we enjoyed it’s visit just the same. Of course my youngest was fearless and happy to get a close up view of this creature and it’s outstanding camouflage.
